Shivasamudra in Monsoon

Shivasamudram, situated in the South Indian state of Karnataka is a river island on the River Kaveri. Here the Kaveri splits in two streams, resulting two different cascades Gaganchukki Waterfall on west and Barachukki Waterfall in east. After flowing few kilometers towards south, the streams reunite and the land in between is what we call Shivasamudram. Both of the Waterfalls look fascinating during monsoon.

Jhapan Festival of Bishnupur

Jhapan Festival is held in few places of West Bengal, India on the last day of Bengali month of Sharavana (mid August).
